Hawkhurst Parish Council has a Vacancy for a Councillor to be Co-opted

No experience is necessary for this voluntary role but you must be a registered elector and live or work full time in the village and have a reasonable knowledge of the area.

You would be closely involved with the changing face of the village; in return you would have an obligation to attend at least two evening meetings each month.

Requirements: You need to be able to attend at least two monthly meetings which generally take place during the evening on the second and fourth Monday in the month. You should also be prepared to take an active part in Parish Council business which may include, but is not limited to, PC training sessions, Area Forums and information meetings that may take place at the District Council Offices in Tunbridge Wells.
