Hawkhurst Parish Council are pleased to announce that both cemeteries have now reopened completely. There is a new set of regulations which supersede all previous regulations produced by Hawkhurst Parish Council.

Hawkhurst Parish Council owns and operates two cemeteries along Hastings Road. The Traditional Cemetery was opened in 1939 and the first burial was a local Priest on 20th December 1939, there are three war graves in the Woodland Cemetery.
The Woodland Cemetery (or Natural Cemetery) was established in 1994 in which we plant native tree species along with a simple plaque to act as a memorial to your loved one.
From the 1st January 2024 the fees are as set out below

*All burials, and applications are subject to the administration fee.
Our fees do not include a fee for grave digging, this should be arranged by your Funeral Director.
